A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. We keep this simple: TOSODEX only sets first-party cookies — ones set directly by our own domain to run the site. We do not embed third-party advertising networks, ad-tracking pixels or cross-site marketing trackers, and we do not sell cookie data to anyone.
| Category | Purpose | Can I disable it? |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Keeps you signed in, protects against CSRF, remembers your session and security settings (2FA state, device recognition). Required for the Services to function. | No — the platform cannot function without these. |
| Preference | Remembers your theme (light/dark), language, display currency and layout choices, so you don't have to reset them every visit. | Yes — via your browser's cookie settings, though your preferences will reset each visit. |
| Analytics | First-party, aggregated usage statistics (pages viewed, feature usage) that help us find bugs and improve the product. We do not use this data to build cross-site advertising profiles. | Yes — no impact on core functionality if disabled. |
| Security | Fraud-prevention and abuse-detection signals, such as recognising a trusted device to reduce repeated verification prompts. | Partially — disabling may increase how often you're asked to re-verify. |
Some pages may embed content from payment or verification partners required to deliver the Service (for example, a KYC provider's widget during identity verification); those partners may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review separately.
Most browsers let you view, delete and block cookies through their settings. You can also use the display options in the site header (theme, language, currency) instead of relying on preference cookies, and disabling non-essential cookies in your browser will not prevent you from using core trading features — only essential/security cookies are required for that.
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technology we use. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do. This policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy.
